On July 19, 2024, FAWSN held a work meeting of the Safety Supervision Committee for the first half of 2024 in the 19th floor conference hall of Zhongmao Tiandi, and conducted EHS leadership training for corporate executives. Jing Qingchun, President of the Group and Director of the Safety Supervision Committee, Bao Yazhong, Vice President of the Group and Deputy Director of the Safety Supervision Committee, other members of the Safety Supervision Committee, General Managers of various affiliated companies, and safety leaders attended the meeting through on-site and video conferencing.
The meeting reviewed the four key issues that the previous safety committee had focused on, and provided explanations and comments on the progress; Reported on the progress of seven aspects of work in the first half of 2024, including group based EHS management, hazard investigation and control, digital application attempts in the EHS field, and safety and environmental responsibility agreements.
Vice President Bao Yazhong put forward specific requirements in seven aspects, including the main responsibility for safety management, investment in safety expenses, the fulfillment of regulatory responsibilities by second and third level companies, the investigation and treatment of hidden dangers, night shift safety management and inspection, flood prevention work, and deployment of summer shutdown and maintenance.
President Jing Qingchun emphasized the need to continue to do a good job in group EHS management, pay attention to the implementation of the "safety and fire red line", carry out graded management of safety work, continue to play a supporting and assisting role, and do a good job in responding to extreme weather.
After the meeting, the group invited domestic experts in the security industry to conduct a themed training on EHS leadership for corporate executives. The safety experts comprehensively analyzed the legal responsibilities of enterprises and managers, environmental pollution status, and corporate legal responsibilities from case studies and legal responsibilities of corporate safety management accidents, the new "Safety Production Law" and new criminal law, and clarified the importance of safety and environmental protection management.
Through this training, all affiliated companies have gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of EHS management, a clearer understanding of the responsibilities assigned by law, and a clearer direction for organizing EHS work. I believe that the affiliated company will integrate EHS management into its corporate culture and business processes in the subsequent operation process, enhancing the company's EHS management capabilities and effectiveness.
